CCO have worked with Appleby Grammar School, a Grade II Listed Building for many years and have completed a number of refurbishment projects on the original main school building which dates back to 1887.

Each refurbishment project has been carefully planned and synthetically carried out to ensure that the Victorian building retains its distinctive appearance and character. The repairs carried out at the school includes:

  • External stonework repairs
  • Gutters repairs and replacement
  • Redecoration of soffits & fascias
  • Window replacement

The majority of the funding for the phased external refurbishment works has been secured by CCO through successful Condition Improvement Fund applications to the Education & Skills Funding Agency.
