This new multi-use games area at St Margaret’s C of E Academy was funded through the Healthy Pupils Capital Fund (HPCF) following a successful bid to the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) prepared by CCO on behalf of the school.

The new multi-use games area provides a new high quality sports facility which can be used all year round. The MUGA surface is sand dressed synthetic turf which can be used for playing a wide range of sports including; tennis and football. Three metre high polyester powder coated fencing encloses the new MUGA with five metre high rebound fencing provided at each end. LED floodlighting has also been installed which ensures that the MUGA can be used during the winter months and evenings.
