School Condition Allocation

February 23, 2024

School condition allocation is capital funding paid directly to large multi-academy trusts which have 5 or more schools and at least 3,000 students (the number varies for special and alternative provision schools). The amount of SCA funding received is calculated based on the total number of students in the trust. The purpose of SCA funding is to address building issues including:

  • Poor building condition
  • Building compliance
  • Energy efficiency
  • Health & safety issues

CCO can assist your trust in preparing a strategic plan for maintaining and improving your school buildings and estates. We can assist your trust in the development of short, medium and long-term goals and help you utilise your school condition allocation effectively across your entire trust estate. We can then project manage your trust’s building project from start to finish.

If you would like to discuss how we can support your multi-academy trust in making the most of this vital SCA funding please contact our team.
