We offer a wide range of Building Surveying services which include: full building surveys, condition and dilapidation schedules, building defect analysis, preparation of design and specification documents & contract administration.
We provide a full scope of architectural services from RIBA stage 0-7. Our architectural team collaborate with other in house disciplines to provide bespoke design solutions to fulfil all aspects of our client needs.
From refurbishment projects to new build we offer a wide range of services which include: feasibility studies, concept design, visualizations, masterplanning, planning applications, building regulation applications, tendering and contractor selection, preparation of tender packages, project management and contract administration.
CCO Building Consultancy are experienced in delivering projects which fulfil the client’s brief, are on time and on budget. Our Project Managers work collaboratively with the design team to develop design solutions which mitigate risk, are deliverable, within the client’s budget, robust and achieve a high standard of design quality.

Effective cost management is an essential part of the delivery of any successful project. CCO can provide tailored cost advice and cost control measures to suit all manner of project requirements and cost constraints. Our team can provide a variety of cost management services including; preparing budget cost plans as part of a feasibility study for a potential project, cost control and reporting whilst a project is on site to ensure the project remains in budget and also value engineering services to explore potential cost saving measures for the project.
With over 30 years experience we have worked on a wide range of heritage projects involving the refurbishment and remodelling of both locally listed, Grade II, Grade II* and Grade I buildings. In addition we are also well versed in working on buildings located in conservation areas, green belt and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
CCO has extensive experience supporting clients with applications for grant funding from a wide range of sources, including the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF), School Condition Allocation (SCA), Devolved Formula Capital (DFC), Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), and the School-Based Nursery Capital Grant (SBN).
Under the Construction Design & Management Regulations (CDM) 2015, CCO offer Principal Designer services. This role involves advising and assisting our clients in complying with their CDM duties. Within the practice, those appointed to carry out the role of Principal Designer, have or are working towards formal health & safety NEBOSH qualifications. Regular CPD seminars and in-house training ensures that our staff are kept up to date with health and safety requirements and legislation.
