Successful Condition Improvement Fund 2021/22 Results
June 25, 2021
Following the Education & Skills Funding Agency’s announcement of the outcome of the Condition Improvement Fund 2021/22, Cowan & Co are pleased to announce that yet again we have secured funding for a large number of our academy clients. With competition for funding higher than ever we are proud to have maintained our high success rate.
This year we have successfully secured CIF Funding for a wide array of projects across Lancashire, Cumbria, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire & Cheshire. These CIF projects include;
- Roof refurbishments
- Building refurbishments
- Window & Door replacements
- Boiler replacements
- Heating pipework replacements
- Electrical rewiring & remedial works
- Fire safety works
- Safeguarding works
- Expansion works – overcrowding
We are delighted to have secured much needed capital funding for our academy clients and are excited to progress these projects over the coming months. Similar to last year, the publication of this year’s CIF results has been delayed again by the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time Cowan & Co have been carrying out pre-planning works to ensure that our projects are ready to make an effective start on site as soon as possible.
Inevitably with the sheer volume of applications for CIF funding not all bids are successful. Unlike previous years the ESFA have published the feedback and scores for unsuccessful bids earlier than anticipated with the appeals round closing on the 9th July. If you would like to discuss your academy’s appeal or alternatively a potential CIF bid for 2022/23 then please contact our team on 01772 425360 to discuss how we can help.
